QPR striker Rowan Vine remains on course for a return to action in October as he continues his recovery from a broken leg.The 25-year-old suffered a double fracture when he collided with goalkeeper Matt Pickens in a freak training-ground incident back in April.
Vine has already begun running and earlier this week had two screws removed from his left tibia as well as undergoing another X-ray.
"The X-ray revealed that the fracture is continuing to heal in a positive fashion. We are very happy with the progress he is making," said Rangers physio Paul Hunter.
Midfielder Akos Buzsaky remains 10 weeks away from a return following his recent ankle surgery.
Meanwhile, Rangers have added friendlies at Scottish sides Falkirk, on July 26, and Kilmarnock three days later, to their pre-season schedule.
