Ronnie O'Sullivan has promised to reward fans for their support with more exciting snooker in the new campaign.
O'Sullivan ended the season as world number one after winning the World Championship at the Crucible and the UK Championship.
However, the Rocket was caught up in controversy, when he was fined and docked ranking points after lewd post-match comments at the China Open were caught on video.
O'Sullivan thanked his fans for their support, and vowed to try and maintain his attacking form next season.
"I would like to thank all my fans for their support throughout the previous season," O'Sullivan said. "They have really helped to lift me and enable me to approach my games in a more positive frame of mind than ever before.
"It has been a fantastic season for me, winning both the 888.com World and Maplin UK Championships, and picking up three maximum breaks along the way. I can't remember a time when I've been playing so well.
"Hopefully I can continue this good form into next season and I look forward to entertaining my fans next year with the same attacking, positive game."

pure gifted and talented player...... always entertaining
we love u ronnie
Ronnie was amazing at the Crucible.
I'm a fan of snooker thanks to Ronnie, not unlike what Tiger Woods has done for the game of golf. Recently I tried my hand at the game for the first time . . . during a visit to China! (There are no tables to be found in my part of Spain.) Great to hear O'Sullivan is psyched for the upcoming season. Ronnie at his best is poetry in motion . . . majestic stuff!
Old Ronnie hey super talented, crazy as a crazy thing - we all love him for that - keep up the good work Ron.
