US Open - Kjeldsen to miss Bethpage

Denmark's Soren Kjeldsen has withdrawn from the US Open because of an ear infection.
The 34-year-old, a double winner on the European Tour, has been replaced in the 156-strong field at Bethpage State Park by American Steven Conway.
The second major championship of the season starts on Thursday when world number one Tiger Woods will defend the title he clinched 12 months ago in a play-off with fellow American Rocco Mediate.
