Kirk Broadfoot hopes Rangers fans have done enough to convince Barry Ferguson to stay at Ibrox next season.
Deposed captain Ferguson has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the club and former Light Blues boss Alex McLeish has already confirmed his interest in bringing the midfielder to Birmingham this summer.
Ferguson, 31, still has a year left on his Rangers contract but his Ibrox career looked over in April thanks to his role in the infamous `Boozegate' saga.
He returned to play a part in a thrilling end to the season which saw the club clinch the double and led to Ferguson being cheered to the rafters by delirious supporters.
Full-back Broadfoot said: "It's up to him and if he does stay, I think every player here is happy for him to do that.
"With the way Barry finished the league and the reception he got from the fans, he might turn around and say, 'I want to stay'. But it's up to him."

msg # 5 you are a @#$% son listen tae yersel.......SCOTLANDS SHAME....FACT HAIL HAIL
Sherbet theres a great chance he will stay to play in his last CL games...then sign free for someone in Jan as he still has 1 year of his contract left....Everyone seems to miss the fact that When the season starts Rangers will be without Thomson, Edu, Broadfoot and Lafferty for at least a month!!!!!
Ferguson should stay at Greyskull as his last trip to the EPL wasnt exactly successfull,if big eck takes him it would be his last pro contract. remaining at Ipox will allow him to make an arse of himself for at least 14 more years.
MON THE HOOPS
HAIL HAIL!
ferguson ia still class no matter what happend
So being Captain makes him the best?! Does he pass an accurate ball forward? does he look for runs from wingers? No, he side passes all the time and takes the easy option... He must have watched butch wilkins in his hayday - Another pratt who wouldn't know a forward pass from a tube o smarties. And, before all the comebacks, I'd be willing to admit that we have a Captain at Celtic, who in my view isn't the best man for the job or necessarily the best defender... Gary Caldwell, Darren O' Dea or Glenn Loovens are easily better.
Wee Bawwy's Scotland career is hardly the stuff of legend.
Do the Rangers players take in in turns too come out and talk pish.....
Pt8/9...you both used the word WAS
FERGIE WAS A LEGEND BEFORE AND WILL REMAIN ONE AT IBROX!!! HE MADE AN ARSE O HIMSELF ON SCOTLAND DUTY BUT HE GOT PUNNISHED AND NOW TIME TO MOVE ON !!!AFTER ALL FULL STEAM FOR TITLE 53 !!!ESPECIALLY WHEN CELTIC DRAGGING BARRELL FOR THERE NEW MANAGER AFTER ALL DID HE WIN ANYTHING AS PLAYER??? AND HE DID NOTHING AT HIBS AND WEST BROM ACCEPT GET THEM RELEGATED !!!MAYBE HELL ACHEIVE SAME AT TICS!!!!
He was Scotlands captain, leader, skipper? Rangers captain, leader and skipper? some of you bam pots are mis-reading the thoughts of the two respective managers and other managers in both Scotland & England.
Why would you want him to stay Linn-Honestly what does he bring to the team? I try to stick to Celtic topics, but I just don't see what half of Scotland see in this wee bam - The Scotland squad are easily better off without him and I think Rangers wouldn't miss him either. Clubs are hardly beating down the door to sign him are they?
What great news for Rangers fans. 31 yr old biggoted drunk that your weans can look up to as their role model. I hope he stays for the return of the league to paradise.
