Lincoln have gained approval from the Football League to bring forward their League Two encounter with Hereford in March.

The Imps were scheduled to play Hereford on Saturday, March 13, but the game has been switched to Friday, March 12.

Lincoln chief executive Dave Roberts said: "Friday night matches have worked well in the past and having reviewed the fixture list I felt the Hereford game was the ideal one to bring forward."

Hereford are also discussing a similar rearrangment for the return match and hope local police will allow them to bring forward the clash at Edgar Street from Saturday, December 19 to the Friday, December 18.
