Carlisle manager Greg Abbott believes his team are capable of a great start to the season after the new fixtures were released.
Newly-promoted Brentford visit Brunton Park on the opening day and the Blues will then travel to Milwall and Stockport.
"I think it's a fantastic set of fixtures for us," Abbott told the club's official website.
"I look at the first batch of eight games and feel that they are there for us to get something out of.
"That's exactly what I'm going to say to the players when they come back into work, because we now have something to work towards.
"I'll be telling them to make sure that they are doing things properly so that we can start our season in the same way that we finished the last one off against Milwall."

All Abbott has been going on about has been the fixtures and how great they are. LESS TALK MORE ACTION PLEASE GREG. I know ya little excited and even starstruck at playing the likes of southampton, charlton, and norwich, but STOP talking about it and do something so we can compete with them.
