Manchester City midfielder Dietmar Hamann has expressed his interest in a possible move to German Second Division club 1860 Munich.
The former Germany international played his last league game for City back in December but is determined not to give up on his playing career just yet.
He told Setanta.com: "They are a great club that belongs in the top flight. I could see myself playing there. I want to carry on playing for another two years."

still a decent player, not quite what city need now they have a lot of money but a coaching role or a role in the academy may have been a good idea
I doubt it Ian - 1860 and Bayern are big rivals.
hamann has perhaps eye on bayern interim manager job when van gaal found out by october.
Great player in his time and although his wish is to keep playing, i think he would be better hanging the boots up and taking up coaching etc. I am a Man City fan and would have liked the club to have offered him a role within the coaching staff, as he has plenty of experience to pass onto the players, irrespective of the leval they are at within the club!
