Holloway asks for patience

Thu 18 Jun, 10:18 AM

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway will bide his time as he works towards making his first signing for the club.

Holloway has released a number of players following his appointment at Bloomfield Road and is now looking to add to it.

However, he has urged supporters to remain patient as he warned there is unlikely to be a glut of new arrivals any time soon.

"I want to assess every player and what they can bring to the squad," he told the club's official website.

"I know we need to bring in players to add to the squad but if anyone thinks I am going to bringing load of players in the next week or two they need to hang on.

"I want to bring the right player in and not sign someone for the sake of it."
