Notts County have confirmed they will again be heading to Austria as part of their pre-season programme.

The Magpies will spend a week at the National Sports & Recreation Centre in Obertraun, flying out on July 11 before taking part in two friendlies against as yet unnamed opponents.

Manager Ian McParland told the club's official website: "I'm delighted we have been given the opportunity to go to Austria again.

"The facilities are first class and the lads will be doing plenty of hard work while we're out there. It is not a holiday for them by any means.

"It is an opportunity for them to get to know each other before the season starts, which is very important, and it also breaks up the pre-season for us."
