Nick Carle has set his sights on double glory with Crystal Palace and Australia next season.
The midfielder made his first appearance for the Socceroos in 19 months against Bahrain last Wednesday and is now eager to stake his claim for a place in next year's World Cup squad.
Carle knows the best way to ensure he is on the plane to South Africa is to have a successful season with Palace.
"Making the World Cup squad is a goal of mine for next season but at the moment I am just more of a squad player and it is up to me to make sure I do the best I can to stay in the squad," he said.
"I would like to go up with Palace and then a World Cup place to follow but there is a lot of hard work to be done between now and then."

Perhaps Carle will perform this season unlike last when he flitted in and out of games. Another Warnock dud so far. Telling season for Carle who is yet to live up to the price we paid for him.
