Warnock keen on Wright-Phillips

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has declared his interest in Southampton striker Bradley Wright-Phillips.

The 24-year-old, the son of legendary former Eagles forward Ian Wright, will be out of contract next month and is likely to leave the cash-strapped League One club.

Plymouth have been linked with a move for Wright-Phillips but Warnock, who also hopes to land Freddie Sears on loan from West Ham, could be ready to step in.

"Bradley is one we have spoken about. He is on our list," said Warnock.

Despite being almost out of contract, Wright-Phillips still showed up at Saints' training ground for pre-season training tests this week.

  2. Why does Warnock fel the need to tell everyone who is on his list? Is it to disrupt the player or show he is still around. Frankly as a Palace supporter I am fed up with warnocks pointless signing interests as they never materialise. Retire you dinosaur.
