Inter president Massimo Moratti has hinted that he would consider appointing England manager Fabio Capello as the club's new coach.

Leonardo's decision to join Paris Saint Germain has left Inter searching for a new coach for the third time in the space of a year and the club have already been turned down by former Chile boss Marco Bielsa.

Moratti has ruled out appointing Carlo Ancelotti and has played down speculation that Fiorentina boss Sinisa Mihajlovic could be a target.

However, when asked about Capello by Gazzetta dello Sport, Moratti responded: "Who doesn't like him?

"I am looking for the right coach for Inter. A person who won't change the team a great deal and will try to win everything."

Capello, who is contracted until the end of England's Euro 2012 campaign, was questioned about the reported interest from Inter on Friday and said he firmly was in the dark.

"I am in Marbella, in the sun, with my grandchildren," Capello said.

"I am not aware of what is being said as in my house, my grandchildren have taken over the TV. They make the decisions regarding the TV and watch Walt Disney."
