Watford manager Aidy Boothroyd believes defender Danny Shittu's move to Scottish Premier League giants Rangers could still go through. The Hornets had accepted a bid from Rangers only for Shittu to fail to agree personal terms with the SPL side.
Shittu had expressed his belief that the transfer would still happen, although Gers boss Walter Smith appeared less optimistic.
However, Hornets manager Boothroyd does not feel that the Nigerian centre-half's proposed switch to Ibrox has completely fallen through.
"Rangers came in for Danny and the bid was accepted," Boothroyd told the Watford Observer.
"They have failed to agree terms, from what I understand.
"I don't think the deal is dead and it may still occur. It's one of those things where personal needs aren't met.
"It's down to a lack of communication that needs resolving by the player and the club."

i think the only problem is that he wants too much in the way of wages which goes against rangers pay policy which is every player gets paid the same so all the players feel equally treated
Whats the script on this guy ? Did he mess Rangers about only to blame them when he was told to b**ger off, when he couldn't agree terms.
