Cheltenham Town manager Keith Downing has confirmed he is interested in signing strikers Michael Boulding and Kevin Gall.Boulding, 31, scored 22 league goals as Mansfield were relegated from League Two last season and rejected a new contract offer at Field Mill to seek a club in the Football League.

Gall, 26, has been made available for transfer by Carlisle boss John Ward after he failed to establish himself as a regular first-team member last season.

Downing told the club's official website: "I'm going to have a chat with Michael and I'm also interested in Kevin Gall of Carlisle.

"Both players are well established at this level and would be good additions for us."
