Preston defender Callum Davidson is hoping he will not face a prolonged spell on the sidelines after withdrawing from the Scotland squad.Davidson limped out of Saturday's 2-0 home win against Crystal Palace after picking up a knee injury.
He subsequently withdrew from George Burley's Scotland squad to face Northern Ireland this week and will undergo a scan to assess the injury.
Preston boss Alan Irvine said: "We don't think it is anything too bad, but we will know the full extent of it once we have had the scan results."
