Walsall summer signing Jabo Ibehre believes his current form is a reflection of how much he is loving life at the Banks's Stadium. The striker grabbed a late winner in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Scunthorpe to help the Saddlers to their first three points of the season, a week after he rescued a draw at Yeovil on the opening day.
And after making a summer move to the midlands from Leyton Orient, Ibehre has stressed he couldn't be happier with his decision.
"From a personal point of view, I am playing with a smile on my face and will keep working hard to maintain the standards that I have set myself," he told the club's official website.
"Leaving London for the first time during the summer was a big thing for me. I stepped out of my comfort zone and it has pushed me even more. It has made me a better person and I am enjoying the experience.
"I couldn't have asked for a better start to my Walsall career and the fans have been brilliant to me. I am a team player and I give my all to help the team get the right result."
