Roger Johnson was "appalled" at the behaviour of Cardiff fans who vented their frustration at manager Dave Jones at Doncaster on Saturday. Before claiming a late 1-1 draw against the impressive Championship newcomers to make it four points from a possible six, Bluebirds fans showed their frustration at the team's display and directed their anger at the bench, much to the annoyance of Johnson.
"I couldn't believe what I was hearing in the second half," he told the South Wales Echo. "The fans were shouting 'Jonesy, Jonesy sort it out.' It was a distraction we could have done without. The fans should be getting behind the team, they are better than that.
"It was appalling. We are just as keen as they are to win, but it doesn't do the team any good when we hear that kind of stuff.
"We are trying our best against a Doncaster side that will surprise a few teams this term. I heard the chants and the rest of the players did too, and it annoyed me so early in the season. You can't shout that sort of thing after only two games of the season.
"As players we try and block it out of our thoughts, but we do hear that kind of nonsense. It was very disappointing to hear it to be honest."

get lost jhonson grow up you loved it in the cup final now you have to take the stick as well
its typical of Fans these days, and is it fair, probably, I mean players get paid astromical wages at present, so they must expect critiscism when they do not perform, but I think the true fan would not resort to the sort of nonsense that Dave Jones had to put up with, I have got great admiraton for Dave both as a person and a coach.
Shut up roger, You were all playing @#$% and we let you know it! we can shout what ever we like, The fans ARE CARDIFF CITY and as a employee just get on earning your £1000's a week and the next time your playing @#$% we'll tell the boss 'Jonesy, Jonesy sort it out.'
