Midfielder Olivier Kapo insists suggestions that he is already seeking to leave Wigan after failing to settle in the north-west are not true.Kapo only joined the Latics from Birmingham over the summer, but reports on Monday claimed that he is unhappy in his new surroundings.
The Frenchman admits that has not yet settled into life at the JJB Stadium, but insists that he is delighted to be back under the tutelage of former Blues boss Steve Bruce.
"Someone is trying to cause trouble because nothing could be further form the truth," Kapo told the club's official website.
"Sure, it takes a little time to settle when you move clubs and I am still living in a hotel but that is my choice because I want to find the right house for me and my family.
"On the football side things are going great, the team has been playing great in pre-season, the team spirit here seems excellent and we are a really tight group of lads."
Kapo played the full 90 minutes for Wigan as their campaign got under way with a disappointing 2-1 defeat to West Ham on Saturday.
