Hull assistant manager Brian Horton admits the club are still hoping to add to their squad before the closure of the transfer window.
The Tigers have been one of the busiest sides in the transfer market this summer bringing in nine new faces, but Horton says they will not stop at that.
Horton claims boss Phil Brown is keen to bring in some experienced players to bolster the squad as they look to secure survival in their first season in the Premier League.
"Yes, we are still trying to get players in," Horton told Sky Sports News.
"The squad does need strengthening with experience, but at the end of the day it is no good bringing in someone if it does not enhance the squad.
"We believe we have good players here, and there were one or two experienced players who did not even make the bench on Saturday.
"We have improved the squad in depth, but we are still looking to bring a couple in."
