Relive an eventful night in Berlin on day four of the World Championships.

20.05 - There ends our LIVE coverage of day four at the World Championship in Berlin. We'll be back at 09.00 tomorrow where the action will include the shot from the decathlon.

20.00 - GOLD FOR NERIUS! The home crowd get their gold medallist in the javelin. Nerius's throw of 67.30, a personal best, proves enough. Barbora Spotakova of the Czech Republic takes silver, with Maria Abakumova claiming bronze.

19.55 - GOLD FOR KERRON CLEMENT! The American wins the 400m hurdles in a time of 47.91, the quickest this year. Javier Culson of Puerto Rico takes silver, with Bershawn Jackson of the USA claiming the bronze. David Greene of Great Britain comes in seventh, in a time of 48.68.

19.45 - Lashina Demus of Latvia, Elena Churakova of Russia and Jamaica's Kaliese Spencer progress from heat three of the women's 400m hurdles. GB's Perri Shakes-Drayton finishes last in a time of 55.26.

19.40 - Steffi Nerius of Germany is closing in on javelin gold. Her throw of 67.30 leads and the home crowd are cheering every time an athlete throws and comes up short of her mark.

19.30 - The women's 400m hurdles semi-finals are underway. Melaine Walker of Jamaica wins the first in 53.26, with Josanne Lucas of Trinidad and Angela Morosanu of Romania finishing second and third respectively to progress.

19.15 - GOLD FOR IDOWU! The Briton wins the triple jump with a second-round leap of 17.73, the longest mark in the world this year. He drapes a union jack around his shoulders and embarks on a victory lap. Nelson Evora of Portugal takes silver with 17.55. Cuba's Alexis Copello takes bronze.

19.10 - GOLD FOR KEMBOI! The Kenyan wins the 3000m steeplechase in a championship record time of 8:00.43. Richard Kipkemboi Mateelong takes silver for Kenya, with Frenchman Bouabdellah Tahri claiming the bronze.

19.00 - The men's 3000m steeplechase is underway. Ruben Ramolefi of South Africa leads after the opening 1000m

18.40 - GOLD FOR SANYA RICHARDS! The American dominates to win gold in a time of 49.00. Shericka Williams of Jamaica takes silver with Antonina Krivoshapka of Russia claiming bronze. Disappointment for Ohurougo, who only manages fifth - despite running a season best 50.21.

18.35 - Coming up shortly we have Olympic champion Christine Ohuruogu going for GB in the final of the women's 400m. The women's javelin final is also about to start.

18.30 - Alonso Edward of Panama wins heat four in 20.33, with Wallace Spearmon of the US second and Robert Hering of Germany third.

18.20 - Jamaica's Steve Mullings wins heat three in 20.23. Ramil Guliyev of Azerbajin is second, with Ireland's Paul Hession taking the third qualifying spot in 20.48.

18.15 - GB's Marlon Devonish qualifies third in the second heat of the 200m in 20.66. Shawn Crawford of the USA wins it, with Jared Connaughton of Canada third.

18.10 - Idowu jumps 17.73 in the second round to take the lead in the men's triple jump final. What a jump from the Briton! That's the best jump of the year in world competition and a PB for Idowu.

18.00 - Bolt wins the opening 200m heat in 20.41, easing off before the line and coasting home. David Alerte of France is second, with his compatriot Martial Mbandjock third. They are the three qualifiers.

17.40 - Priscilla Lopes-Schliep wins heat four for Canada. Virginia Powell of the US is second, with Nevin Yanit of Turkey third. Brigitte Foster-Hylton wins the final heat in 12.67. GB's Sarah Claxton qualifies in fourth in a time of 13.16 - a season best.

17.35 - Sally McLellan of Australia wins heat three of the women's 100m hurdles. Derval O'Rourke of Ireland is second, with Yuliya Kondakova of Russia third.

17.30 - Heat two of the women's 100m hurdles sees Damu Cherry of USA win in 12.74. Lacena Golding-Clarke of Jamaica is second, with Carolin Nytra of Germany third.

17.20 - Iduwo's first attempt in the triple jump final is a beauty. It measures 17.51 to put him in second behind Nelson Evora of Portugal, who jumped 17.54.

17.15 - Dawn Harper of the USA wins the opening heat in 12.70, with Delloreen Ennis-London of Jamaica second and Nigeria's Olutoyin Augustus third. Cindy Billaud of France and Russia's Tatyana Dektyareva also go through.

17.05 - First up we've got first round heats in the women's 100m hurdles. GB's heptathlon gold medallist Jessica Ennis was due to run in the opener, but she's pulled out. She's not injured, just wanting a rest.

17.00 - There's also the small matter of Usain Bolt going in round two of the 200m heats. Bolt cruised home in the first round this morning.

  1. The British only give value to athletes of their­ country because they see the Nelson Évora is world­ champion and Olympic champion and Eurosport on their­ channels and did not speak of it here so your athlete­ something very unfair !
    In Eurosport News are the­ results in the footer tennis players of their country­ and not of other major talents from other countries!­

    Do not think only in your athletes the other has­ value!
