Manager Alex McLeish insists Birmingham's treatment room is "bursting at the seams" ahead of the trip to Hull.
Forward James McFadden (thigh) and defender Franck Queudrue (hamstring) are the latest players to join an injury list that already includes Cameron Jerome (ankle), Gregory Vignal, Marcus Bent (both hamstring) and Martin Taylor (ankle).
Midfielders Lee Carsley (back) and Damien Johnson (strain) are also struggling to be fit.
However, there are some positives for McLeish with the news centre-back Liam Ridgewell has made a quicker than expected recovery from his broken leg and he will compete with the returning Scott Dann (thigh) and Giovanny Espinoza to start alongside Roger Johnson.
Full-backs David Murphy (knee) and Stephen Carr (thigh) are also back training with the first team and may feature as McLeish ponders whether to include summer signing Christian Benitez from the start for the first time.

with all these injurys should you not be looking at the current coaching methods?
we are not even half way through the season and half the team is crocked
Mcleish you can play442
4-4-2
C'mon McLeish - let's get Benitiez on for a full 90 minutes and he'll star earning his keep. It's Hull - we may be depleted, but surely we have enough players for a 4-4-2 with Benitez AND O'Connor up front? Also, on another note, God knnows I love the man for his services to the club, but surely it's time to let Damien Johnson go? If he can't get fit for service, perhaps it's time to move on for both club and player? I know this point of view will be unpopular, but the needs of the club should surely come first, unless the medical staff can come up with an explanantion of where he's at?
for @#$%'s sake give Benitez a start,play a 4-4-2 & give us a chance to win a game for a change!
