Preston manager Alan Irvine will again be without Callum Davidson, Barry Nicholson and Paul Parry when his side host Coventry at Deepdale.
Left-back Davidson is ruled out for several weeks with a torn hamstring and midfielder Nicholson remains a long-term absentee with a broken leg.
Winger Parry also tore a hamstring in last weekend's 2-0 home win over Swansea and subsequently missed the 3-1 defeat at Scunthorpe in midweek.
He is also set for a period on the sidelines but defender Youl Mawene came back into the side at Glanford Park after a similar injury.
Mawene should again partner Liam Chilvers at the heart of the defence as Irvine's men seek to bounce back from their first defeat of the season.
