White to meet Dott in Prague final

Jimmy White caused a big upset in the semi-finals of the World Series of Snooker in Prague as he beat world champion John Higgins 5-1.

White will now face Graeme Dott in the final after Dott won an all-Scottish clash with Stephen Maguire - also by a 5-1 scoreline.

Despite the match being played with only 10 reds, White was still able to fire a century break of 103 in his match with Higgins.

He also had efforts of 51 and 64 in a surprisingly straightforward victory over the provisional world number one.

Dott lost the first frame against Maguire but was then in top form with breaks of 87, 100 and 44 contributing to this victory.
