Wigan goalkeeper Chris Kirkland says every game is crucial for Latics as they attempt to escape from the Premier League relegation zone.Steve Bruce's men picked up a crucial three points against Blackburn at the weekend but Kirkland told Wigan World that the players can't afford to ease up ahead of Saturday's clash with Fulham.

"It's obviously a big game on Saturday," said the 26-year-old stopper. "But every game's a big game in our situation.

"We need to get out of the trouble we're in, and the only way we can do that is by picking up points.

"It was important that we picked up three points against Blackburn but we've still got things that we need to do better.

"Fulham are a good side at home, so we're expecting a tough game."
