Sheffield United manager Bryan Robson confirmed James Beattie was substituted in the derby win over Barnsley because he was under the weather.Beattie has hit 12 goals since his £4million summer arrival from Everton, but has drawn a blank in his last four matches.
Robson said: "Beattie was ill, but he wanted to play and he didn't want to come off.
"But I thought he looked a bit tired at that stage in the second half and that's why I brought on a bit more pace in Luton Shelton."
Robson expects Beattie to be back to full fitness in time for the Blades' trip to Cardiff on Saturday.
