Challenge Cup - Saracens breeze into quarter-finals

Saracens maintained their 100 per cent record in Group Five of the European Challenge Cup with a 36-19 victory against Viadana at Vicarage Road.

Tries from Glen Jackson, Kameli Ratuvoa and Adam Powell gave Saracens the win, with Jackson also contributing 21 points with the boot.

Saracens have now played five, won five in the Group and are assured of a place in the quarter-finals.

Jacobs Eramus scored Viadana's solitary try, with Charles Hore and Garry Low combining to kick 14 points.

London Irish 75-5 Connacht

Peter Hewat scored five tries as London Irish thumped Connacht in Group One at the Madejski Stadium to book their place in the quarter-finals.

Steffon Armitage, James Hudson, Chris Hala'ufia, James Bailey and Topsy Ojo also went over for the Exiles, with England's Shane Geraghty contributing a remarkable 10 conversions.

Daniel Riordan scored the solitary try for the visitors, who had won two in a row in the group before lining up to face a rampant Irish.

Worcester Warriors 38-19 Bucuresti

Worcester enjoyed a bonus-point victory against Bucuresti at Sixways Stadium to ensure their progress from Group Three.

Ryan Powell, Chris Latham, Rico Gear and Matthew Powell (2) scored the tries for the home side, who were never behind in the encounter.

Daniel Carpo went over for Bucuresti, with Florin Vlaicu contributing 14 points with his boot.

Petrarca 25-24 Bourgoin

The other match in Group Three saw Petrarca win a tight encounter against Bourgoin at Stadio Plebisciuto.

Gonzalo Padro and Nicolas Galatrio scored tries for the home side, with Ludovic Mercier kicking 15 points.
