Eurosport - Mon, 19 Jan 14:40:00 2009

London Wasps beat Leinster 19-12 at Twickenham to keep alive their hopes of reaching the Heineken Cup quarter-finals.

2008-2009 London Wasps Danny Cipriani - 0

Wasps are now level on points with Leinster at the top of Pool Two, but only by scoring more points than the Irish side in the final round of matches can they guarantee their progression as group winners.

England fly-half Danny Cipriani kicked 14 points for Wasps, who scored the only try of the match through flanker Serge Betsen on 14 minutes.

Betsen touched down after a superb break from Josh Lewsey led to a weaving run from Paul Sackey.

Felipe Contepomi kicked four penalties for Leinster.

Perpignan 17-15 Ospreys

Perpignan held off a late fightback from Ospreys to win an enthralling Pool Three encounter at Stade Aime Gira.

Number eight Henry Tiulagi scored the sole try for the home side on 52 minutes, adding to four penalties from the boot of Steve Meyer.

But Ospreys threatened a comeback when first Wales winger Shane Williams and then replacement Jonny Vaughton went over to set up a tense finale.

Perpignan held on, however, and the Ospreys must now beat Leicester at home in the final round of matches and deny the English side a bonus point to win the group.

Leicester 52-0 Benetton Treviso

Leicester romped to a bonus-point win against Treviso at Welford Road to go four points clear at the top of Pool Three.

Wingers Scott Hamilton (2) and Matt Smith, centre Aaron Mauger (2) and replacement Johne Murphy (2) went over for the home side, who also scored a penalty try in a convincing victory.

England fly-half Toby Flood scored 12 points in conversions.

Ulster 21-10 Harlequins

Ulster ended Harlequins' 100 per cent record in Pool Four with a gritty victory achieved in horrendous conditions at Ravenhill.

Darren Cave put the Irish side ahead inside the first minute, the centre finishing with aplomb after a fine pass from Paddy Wallace.

Quins fought back bravely and scored a penalty try on the hour-mark, but Rory Best sealed the match with a late try.

The London side must now beat Llanelli Scarlets in the final pool match to ensure they reach the quarter-finals.

Toulouse 26-33 Glasgow Warriors

Graeme Morrison, Kelly Brown and Max Evans scored tries as Glasgow upset Toulouse at Stade Ernest Wallon in Pool Five.

Dan Evans had a fine day with the boot for the Scottish side, collecting 18 points with three conversions, three penalties and a drop-goal.

French side Toulouse fought back late on with a penalty try and a score from winger Vincent Clerc, but Glasgow held on for a fine victory.

Defeat for Toulouse means a victory for Bath against Gwent Dragons on Sunday will put the English side top of the group with one round of matches to play.

Rugby Calvisano 15-23 Biarritz

Calvisano led 12-9 at half-time against Biarritz of France, but the visitors scored two second-half tries to keep alive their chances of finishing second in Pool Six.

Cesar Damiani and Benoit August went over for Biarritz, with Dimitri Yachvilli kicking 13 points.

Fly-half Gerard Fraser kicked all 15 of Calvisano's points.
