Burnley manager Owen Coyle is confident defender Clarke Carlisle will soon be ready for a return to first-team action. The former Watford centre-back, 28, completed 90 minutes against Irish side Bohemians in Friday's friendly in Dublin.
He has not featured in the Championship since December due to hamstring problems but his first-team comeback looks imminent.
Coyle said: "Clarke looked fine in the game and was moving well, so that augurs well.
"It was the intention for him to get as long as he could, we were hoping it was going to be 90 and he showed that.
"He has trained for a period of time now and we're delighted for him to get a full game under his belt."
