Hearts have requested a meeting with Celtic after receiving a number of complaints from fans about Saturday's SPL game between the two clubs.Nine supporters were ejected and three were arrested during the match at Celtic Park, which the home side won 3-0.

Celtic will provide full details of all ejections and arrests but Hearts have confirmed receiving a number of complaints regarding stewarding, crowd control and policing following the match.

Hearts operations director Campbell Ogilvie told his club's official website: "Where supporters have breached the SPL Unacceptable Conduct regulations, we cannot condone those actions.

"However, we're aware of a very strong feeling about the way certain issues were handled on Saturday.

"With that in mind, we'll work closely with Celtic to ensure that any future issues are minimised."
