Jens Lehmann will continue in goal for Arsenal against his old club Milan in the first leg of their last 16 Champions League tie at the Emirates Stadium.

Spanish goalkeeper Manuel Almunia, who has become manager Arsene Wenger's first choice following Lehmann's disastrous early-season form, is still recovering from a thumb injury.

Wenger told Sky Sports News: "Almunia is not completely ready to play tomorrow. He's getting there. He's very close now."

After missing the 4-0 defeat by Manchester United that saw them eliminated from the FA Cup, the Gunners are boosted by the return of full-backs Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy. Midfielder Mathieu Flamini and striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who has scored 12 goals in his last 10 games, are also passed fit to play.

Francesc Fabregas could be a doubt, however, after he appeared to be limping in training.

Wenger vowed that his team would put the result at Old Trafford behind them and seek to play their own game against the European champions.

"We'll focus on our game," he said. "We'll continue to be guided by the way we want to play football. This is a good opportunity to do that.

"We are playing against a very experienced side. It is going to be very tight.

"For me, it is most important that we play without any handbrake; that we go into the game not calculating too much, but to let our youthful quality show.

"We face the ultimate test on Wednesday because we are in the position of challengers and Milan are the European champions ... they have quality, experience.

"We are a team who can challenge and beat them - but we know we have to be at our best tomorrow to do that.

"We want to be in the Champions League final again."
