Murphy leaves it late in Tigers win

Sun, 19 Feb 18:33:00 2012

Leicester skipper Geordan Murphy ended Saracens' unbeaten home record with a sensational drop-goal with the last kick of a gripping 20-19 Aviva Premiership victory.

Sarries were heading for victory at Vicarage Road when Tigers launched an astonishing 26-phase attack that ended with the Ireland full-back's goal. Saracens last home defeat was to Exeter - in October 2010, and their overall record over 52 weeks is 32 wins from 36 games.

Lock Ed Slater scored a try with Toby Flood kicking 12 points for the Tigers, while scrum-half Neil de Kock crossed over and Alex Goode kicked 14 points in reply for Saracens.
