Crewe defender Mat Bailey is set to join Weymouth on a one-month loan deal after failing to break into manager Steve Holland's first team.Bailey was in the stands to watch the Blue Square Premier strugglers' 2-2 draw against former club Northwich Victoria and will sign subject to the completion of paperwork.

The ex-Stockport stopper, who made his debut against Oldham in the FA Cup in December, has been a bit-part player at Gresty Road for much of the campaign.
