Hibernian striker Steven Fletcher's call-up to Scotland senior squad means he has not been selected in the 22-man Under-21 squad.Fletcher is not in the pool of players named by manager Billy Stark for the UEFA European Championship qualifying match against Finland in Aberdeen next week.
The clash at Pittodrie on March 26 represents Stark's first competitive outing since taking on his new job in January.
The former Queen's Park boss' tenure got off to a losing start when the Scottish youngsters slumped to defeat to Portugal in last month's Vale do Tejo mini-tournament.
He will have to do without the services of Fletcher, who has been promoted to George Burley's squad for next week's friendly against Croatia at Hampden.
Celtic's Rocco Quinn - on loan at St Johnstone - also missed out despite a superb goal in Tuesday night's Scottish Cup win over St Mirren, and Ryan O'Leary and Greg Cameron also failed to make the squad.
Dundee United goalkeeper Euan McLean and Ryan Conroy, James McArthur and Graham Dorrans were all included in the squad.
Squad: MacDonald (Hearts), McLean (Dundee Utd), Smith (St Mirren); Considine (Aberdeen); Cuthbert (Celtic), Kenneth (Dundee Utd), McCann (Hibernian), Reynolds (Motherwell), Scobbie (Falkirk), Wallace (Hearts); Arfield (Falkirk), Conroy (Celtic), Hamill (Kilmarnock), McArthur (Hamilton), McDonald (Dundee), Mulgrew (Wolves), Stevenson (Hibernian); Campbell (Hibernian), Dorrans (Livingston), Elliot (Hearts), McCormack (Motherwell), Naismith (Rangers).
