Carlisle striker Kevin Gall is poised to undergo a trial with Major League Soccer outfit Toronto FC with the view to a permanent move.The 26-year-old will jet out and join up with Toronto - who are managed by former Scotland international Mo Johnston - later this week after falling down the pecking order at Brunton Park.

"Obviously he is still under contract with us until the end of next season, but we're happy for him to go out there, and to meet and train with them," said Blues boss John Ward.

Gall, who has scored three goals this season, has recently returned from a loan spell at Darlington.
