Scunthorpe midfielder Grant McCann is an injury concern for manager Nigel Adkins going into the final seven games of the season.The 27-year-old, who signed from Championship rivals Barnsley in the January transfer window, suffered a knee injury in his side's 2-1 defeat at the hands of Wolves at the weekend.

Before that he had appeared eight times for the Lincolnshire club, scoring one goal.

United manager Adkins told Iron World: "McCann has got a bit of an injury to his knee.

"We will give it a couple of days to let it settle down and reassess it later in the week."

Scunthorpe currently lie six points from safety in the Championship table in 23rd.
