Everton striker James Vaughan is preparing to start the hard work of rehabilitation after returning from America where he had knee surgery.The 19-year-old was operated on by the renowned Dr Richard Steadman in Colorado and now faces months on the sidelines getting back to full fitness.
"I'm in very good spirits. I know I've got to work really hard and that it's a bad time for it to happen to me, but I'm ready to just knuckle down and get on with it," he told the club's website.
"I knew I was in good hands going to see Dr Steadman because he's seen me before."
