Nolberto Solano has pledged his future to West Ham after revealing he snubbed an offer to end his career in Major League Soccer.

The Peruvian winger, 33, maintains he intends to see out his playing days at Upton Park after admitting he still gets a buzz from playing in the Premier League.

"I am under contract with West Ham, and they have spoken to me regarding an extension," he said. "The truth is that I feel lucky to be in England, where the football is currently improving.

"It's no coincidence that their teams are achieving things in the Champions League, it shows the league has grown."

However, Solano suggested he could one day end up in the United States. He told Peruvian station RPP: "It would be interesting to finish my career there.

"I thank them to have thought of me and it makes me feel proud."
