Argentina forward Hernan Crespo wants to remain at Inter Milan next season despite struggling to hold down a regular starting spot.The 32-year-old, who becomes a free agent on June 30, has made just 19 league appearances while scoring four goals for the newly-crowned Italian champions.

However, despite this he claims he is happy to stay where he is.

"Even if I have played little I am happy and I want to remain at Inter," admitted Crespo.

"We will see what the club decide to do in the transfer market."

Crespo joined Inter on a free transfer from Chelsea in the summer of 2006 in the hope of getting more playing time, having failed to make an impact with the London outfit.

His coach from his time in England, Jose Mourinho, has been linked with taking over the job at Inter next season.

Yet still Crespo claims he will not ask to leave should Mourinho arrive.

"I'm not thinking of leaving even if (former Chelsea boss) Jose Mourinho comes to Inter or if coach Roberto Mancini stays," he said.
