Preston North End manager Alan Irvine has vowed to keep the identity of his summer transfer targets close to his chest.North End have been linked with a host of players already this summer, with Derby midfielder David Jones - who had a loan spell at Deepdale - among those linked.
But Irvine is refusing to speculate and has revealed he will only discuss transfers when the deal is done.
"There are so many people involved in deals now and therefore so many things that can go wrong," Irvine told the Lancashire Evening Post.
"So the last thing I am going to do is start telling everyone who I am looking at.
"I would much rather announce things when they have been done. That's the way I would like to work."
