Rotherham have revealed an announcement regarding the club's future at their Millmoor ground is expected to be made later in the week.Unconfirmed reports are rife that prospective chairman Tony Stewart has agreed a new four-year lease deal with the land-owning Booth family.
Barring any last-minute hitches, the deal, which means the League Two club can remain at their home of the last 100 years until a new community stadium is up and running, is expected to be finalised this week.
A club spokesman said: "Nothing has been signed yet, we expect an announcement may be made at some point this week."
The Millers had already made provisions to move to the Don Valley Stadium in case they had to leave Millmoor, with relations between the club and the Booth family appearing fragile as early as last week.
