Brentford manager Andy Scott has made midfielder Marcus Bean his third summer signing as he continues to strengthen his squad for next season.Bean, 23, was without a club after being released by Blackpool at the end of the season and Scott had no hesitation in snapping up the former QPR man.

Scott told the club's official website: "He's a player we have been tracking for a few months now after impressive displays for Rotherham when they were going well earlier in the season.

"He will be a good acquisition to the squad as he is a good age and brings with him enthusiasm, determination, physical strength and experience of the division."

The Bees have already completed the signings of Moses Ademola and Sam Wood since the end of the season.
