Reading director of football Nick Hammond does not expect Dave Kitson or Glen Little to return to the Madejski for a third time next season.
Stoke striker Kitson and Portsmouth winger Little returned for the final months of the season on loan but failed to make an impact as the Royals crashed out in the play-offs.
Hammond told the Reading Evening Post: "Kits is now a Stoke player.
"There was no agreement that he would sign permanently had we gone up. That would have been a discussion you can only have at the end of the season.
"Glen will now go back to Pompey where he is contracted. They still have one game to go. I don't think either player will be back at Reading."

Start anew with Readings younger players, they don't need the likes of Kitson and Little. They left Reading when Reading was feeling low after relegation from the Premiership. As devils_own_halo says start with new manager and the players that will be good for Reading. But then I suppose it will be up to the new manager who will play, who ever he will be. We will have to wait and see.
thank god their not comin back, new manager new start!!!
