Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell admits he is keen not to upset the balance of his side as he seeks to bring new players to Bramall Lane.Blackwell transformed the Blades from mid-table obscurity to within touching distance of the play-offs after his appointment in February.
He hopes to continue that progress in 2008/09 but told the Sheffield Star: "I don't want to upset the balance of what we've already got.
"We don't want to totally change what we're doing because the lads have already shown what they are capable of.
"But we do want to make certain areas better and to carry on improving."
Meanwhile, United striker Luton Shelton scored an eight-minute hat-trick in Jamaica's 6-0 thrashing of the Bahamas in the return leg of their CONCACAF second-round World Cup qualifier.

good on ya Blackie, when all around are looking to bring in and get rid, you seek to stabilise and reassure the ones you have and even want to boost the confidence of the youth team by saying you will promote them to first team if they impress.
WELL DONE Kevin for protecting the future of Sheffield United
