Celtic's chances of signing Roma midfielder Matteo Brighi appear to have receded after his agent highlighted the benefit of staying in Italy.Agent Vanni Puzzolo claims to have spoken with Celtic and three Serie A clubs after Roma decided 27-year-old Brighi can leave this summer.
But Puzzolo is worried Brighi could become a forgotten man in Italy by moving to Scotland.
"After we received the OK from Roma, I have been contacted by Sampdoria, Bologna, Reggina and Celtic," said Puzzolo.
"The economic aspects of the move to Scotland are good, but Matteo is still young and to go to Celtic could mean he loses the profile that he would continue to have in Italy."
