Wolverhampton Wanderers defender George Elokobi admits he still has to pinch himself after becoming a regular at Molineux last season.The Cameroon-born left-back, who was playing non-league football with Dulwich Hamlets only four years ago, now finds himself focused on challenging for promotion to arguably the world's best league competition.

"It's been fantastic for me," Elokobi told the club's official website. "Not so long ago I was playing park football and, don't get me wrong, I'd still be doing that now if I had to.

"The progress I've made is something I never dreamt would happen but it's happened and I've got to deal with it.

"It's all been down to hard work and the determination to get where I am.

"I'm a confident person but I've known I've had to work hard and I've always been ready to push myself."
