Coventry City assistant manager Steve Kean insists that he is happy at the club - despite being approached by Chelsea.
The former Celtic player was only made Chris Coleman's number two in January, after previously working with him at Fulham and Real Sociedad, but has now been approached by representatives of new Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari to be part of the new coaching team at Stamford Bridge.
Kean (pictured, left, with Coleman during their time at Real Sociedad) is fluent in Portuguese following his six-year spell as a player at Academica.
However, he is adamant that he will honour his contract and help guide Coventry back into the Premier League.
He said: "There was contact made from someone acting on behalf of Mr Scolari and when the contact came in I let Ray Ranson, our chairman at Coventry, and Chris Coleman aware of it straight away."
Asked whether he expected Ranson to allow a move, he added: "I don't think so, because the chairman has stated that I've got a contract and I'm happy with the project we've got at Coventry."
Scolari's interest in signing a British coach who speaks Portuguese could mean that the Brazilian manager is looking to replace Steve Clarke, who had been assistant to both Jose Mourinho and Claudio Ranieri.
