EASTBOURNE, England (AFP) - Canadian qualifier Frank Dancevic will seek his first tour title when he faces Russian second seed Dmitry Tursunov in the final of the Eastbourne grasscourt tournament.

Dancevic won 6-4, 6-4 against crowd-pleasing French veteran Fabrice Santoro, who was making his last appearance at Devonshire Park.

"I just tried to get a few matches in before Wimbledon and ended up getting some confidence and reached the final. I've had an awesome time this week," said Dancevic.

His only previous singles final appearance came on the hardcourts of Indianapolis two years ago.

Tursunov reached the final with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, the Spanish eighth seed.

In the women's event, Danish sixth seed Caroline Wozniacki saw off Aleksandra Wozniak of Canada 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 while Virginie Razzano made the final when French compatriot Marion Bartoli retired when she was trailing 6-4, 1-0.
