Serbia and Belarus shared a 0-0 draw in Group A of the European Under-21 Championships with neither team able to muster a goal at the Malmo New Stadium.
Serbia had the chance to join Italy at the top of the group with a victory, but despite pressing hard for a winner, Belarus defended obdurately to keep a clean sheet.
Six bookings were awarded in a scrappy affair, with neither side able to find the fluency or guile to breakdown two dogged defences.
The best chance of the game fell to Serbia defender Nemanja Pejcinovic in the 79th minute, who squandered a clear-cut opportunity when he slid into the box, but he shot over with Belarus goalkeeper Pavel Chesnovski charging off his line.
Nikolai Osipovich almost turned a devilish free kick from the right by Zoran Tosic into his own net, but his face was the picture of relief as the ball dipped narrowly over the crossbar.
Italy top Group A after their win over Sweden, with Serbia having to beat the hosts in their final game to have a hope of progressing to the final four, with Belarus requiring a victory over Pierluigi Casiraghi's side.

I agree with You aleksic93 !! The worst player is Fejsa who didn't know what to do with the ball,to slow,to nervous...to bad!!
I only hope that they can start playing like we all hope to and go in semies
the way we performed, we don't deserve to go through. no commitment, far too much selfishness, and many minor mistakes. Tosic was the only one worth mentioning.
