not selling Villa is such a big loss to both Valencia & Villa himself.. for Villa, he misses the opportunity to make himself/his talent worth more than what he has now by being in a bigger club with more stars around.. as for Valencia, they forget that Villa wont make money for them as he's getting older next year..
Villa is rubbish in my championship manager team!
Comment 72: The way for Torres to win the PL is to stay with Liverpool - watch and see!
mapsnyika - comment 78. You are right, it is a 'sellers market' whether that seller is a player touting for a better contract or the club wishing to get as much as they can before losing an asset.
The point of the article however is to suggest that Utd aren't being totally penny pinching in their dealings with Tevez and suggests that his demands are too high... i.e it isn't all the club's fault that the deal may not go through.
You put forward a credible arguement and almost sounded mature in the childish environment of Yahoo comments-world... right up until you blew it by saying "Man u do not need to buy players because they have all refrees on their side so who is greedy?".
Seriously, grow up. If you genuinely believe that claptrap then you probably believe Elvis is still alive, eating chocolate on the moon but the only reason we can't confirm it because there were never any real moon landings. Have a word with yourself and think before typing next time.
Tevez like Ronaldo is pulling the shots. Ferguson is most likely to lose more players if he doesn't change his attitude towards players. I think he should learn to accept that yesterday is not today or tomorrow - his treatment of former good players is backfiring. Yesterday he fired, today players are firing...what a simple equation. I am also forced to believe some good players are nolonger interested in coming to Old Trafford because of the way players are treated. Football is both business and entertainment and once you buy a player from another club you should expect the same player to leave either fired or firing. Man u supporters must also learn to tolerate other clubs and the wishes of players leaving them. Journalists must also respect Tevez..he is not greedy...he is on market, buy or leave it. Man u do not need to buy players because they have all refrees on their side so who is greedy? He who pulls a trigger must expect the same to him. Lets be open minded in football.?
manua dont need any players because they have all the refs
ohh wait your showing a sense of humour?? hahaha very good
luke17.taylor............crazzzzzzy talk man....your living in a dream man, wake up!! ye'll be lucky to get any decent players this year
MAN UTD couldn't hang on to the best player in Europe " MINNOWS" Tevez will go they can't afford him sressot...
man utd are da best and they will sign torres, david silva, david villa and ribery
as for torres going to man u well if he wants to win the premier league he may sign asap
hard to swallow this one but robben would fit in well at spurs but van nilsterooy your having a giraffe
newspapers write utter fiction.
I wouldn't believe any of this transfer rubbish until you see the player in question posing with your team shirt and manager and better still in a match. This happens every transfer window.
Sacre blu' Torres to Man United? Why would Man United want to buy from Liverpool. ManUnited wanted to get him earlier but he insisted that he was staying in Spain only to sign for Liverpool the next year. If he was not interested in ManUnited earlier what made you all think that he is now. For goodness sake we've only lost Ronaldo and he is not ManUnited despite his massive contributions. Go ManUnited.
It pains me to say it but SAF will not be able to attract any world class strikers to Man U, until he can provide them with the service that only world class midfielders can supply. Put simply, we do not have that class of midfielder and that was evident in the game against Barca.
someone wake the person up who wrote comment 62 cos his obviously dreaming,,,,,,,,be careful they will come and take u away soon...west ham 3rd now really,,,,yeah 3rd from bottom more likely
they already have slow clumsy strikers , whats new?
Liverpool could not afford the payments on Robbie thats why he came back to Spurs, Liverpool out of business by Christmas and Manure to follow. followed by Chelski owner losing the plot and going home with his money. Arsenal stadium starts to fall apart because it was built cheaply and they owe a fortune on it. The Big Shake up starts soon.
johnnyg2 aint got a clue it rhymes
