Nottingham Forest`s Carling Cup first-round tie at home to Bradford will take place on August 12.
The Wednesday night game at the City Ground will kick-off at 7.45pm. This is to avoid a clash with Notts County`s home game against Doncaster in the same competition, which will take place 24 hours earlier.
It is the fourth successive season that the Reds have been drawn against League Two opposition in the Carling Cup, and their record against teams from the bottom tier is mixed.
Forest have overcome Morecambe and Chester in the last two campaigns but were beaten by Accrington and Macclesfield the previous two seasons.
